KTA Race Jam Pranburi & Ozone/Underground Demo Day!

Following your requests to have a KTA coaching weekend in Thailand and hot on the heels of the kite racing at the Kings Cup Regatta in Phuket we are pleased to bring you just that. So read on and start planning to head to Pranburi.

The focus of this KTA coaching weekend will be on racing both race board and twin-tip style. So which ever you prefer to ride and race in it will be a chance to improve your skills and learn something new from 2 times Asian Champion Yo Narapichit Pudla.

You must be a competent rider to join the KTA Coaching Weekend who is looking to improve their existing course race skills or just to hang out and have a cool time.

The KTA Board Jam aims to be a chilled out coaching weekend of group training inputs, personal coaching, video skills review and open training time to practice new skills. The KTA crew will also set up a number of fun races over the weekend so that you have the chance to test your new found skills out on set-courses of different types.  So the approach will be informal and flexible to work with the conditions and winds strengths as they present themselves on each day, but for sure you will get a lot out of it, so not to be missed.

OZONE 2012 DEMO & UNDERGROUND BOARD TEST! 

The new range of Ozone 2012 kites have been released, we will have to hand some gear for your to test over the 2 days and special rates for people who buy on the course, the Ozone Edge & C4 will be the highlight of the demo, the edge complimented by the underground race boards is a perfect package for winning races.....just ask Yo!

Also joining us for the KTA Board Jam will be Undergrounds Boards the well regarded kiteboard company from New Zealand with board designs from the highly respected Kiwi board shaper Adrian Roper.

Both Underground twin tip and race boards will be available for you to test over the weekend, so a chance to try something new and even get to grips perhaps with a race board for the first time. Plus if your about kit up for the new season then you could well be in for a bit of a bargain take away at the end of the test.

16^th – Arrival and chill out evening at the Beach House bar to meet Yo and the crew

17th^th – Race Jam coaching session and board test

Race Jam Beach BBQ – evening onwards

18^th - Race Jam coaching and race practice , plus more opportunities to test Underground boards & Ozone Kites

Breaks and lunchtimes will be programmed daily based around the conditions and the training.

Winds range from 8 - 20 knots this time of the year in Pranburi and comes from the north Easterky direction, this is a cross on shore wind to the beach.  Sun is shining this time of the year so bring plenty of sunscreen and long sleeve rash vests if your prone to a bit of burning!
